Welcome to the music, poetry, and philosophy of Peter Bishop.

Peter’s main career was in high-tech software for the semiconductor industry, personal software, system software, enterprise software, and enterprise software for mobile devices. During this time, he was also a leader of the Humanist Community in Silicon Valley, CA. While there he and his wife wrote a Humanist Creed for his family, he wrote a songbook of songs for his children, and he spoke frequently to the Humanist Community on numerous philosophical issues.

After moving to Washington, DC, Peter decided to transition from high-tech into philosophy. He served for several years as the webmaster and Humanist philosopher for the International Federation for Secular and Humanistic Judaism under the leadership of Marvin Rosenblum. As a philosopher, he started writing philosophical papers and giving occasional platforms at the Washington Ethical Society.

Lea has now performed the songs he wrote, along with songs written by other parents in the Sunday School of the Humanist Community. This CD is presented in the main page, along with associated information, such as the words to these songs, sheet music, and further background for each of the songs.
